1. Preserving the Existing Roof Decking

The existing roof had a gypsum deck, which presented a major challenge. A full tear-off would have required replacing the decking, significantly increasing costs and project duration.

Solution: Instead of a full tear-off, RoofChoice applied a two-part Johns Manville spray adhesive foam to securely bond a 2.6-inch layer of ISO insulation over the existing roof, creating a solid foundation for the new membrane.
