Work continues for RoofChoice on the large commercial roofing project underway in South Nashville.
In our previous update, we took a closer look at one of the more complex sections of the project, where our team tackled a barrel-style roof, extensive decking repairs, custom drainage solutions, and new skylight curbs.
Now, the RoofChoice crew has moved on to another section of the property, this time working on a more traditional flat roof.
This phase of the project is more straightforward, but it is another important step toward completing the larger roofing system across the property.
The crew is continuing the installation of the new 60mil TPO roofing system, creating a durable, low-slope roofing solution designed for long-term performance and protection.
As with every commercial roofing installation, attention to the details matters. Proper preparation, membrane installation, seams, penetrations, edges, and drainage all contribute to how well the finished roof will perform over its service life.
One of the interesting aspects of this South Nashville project is the variety of roofing conditions across the property.
The earlier portion required significant problem-solving to accommodate its curved roof design, deteriorated decking, skylights, and drainage requirements. This flat-roof section presents a different set of conditions and allows the project to move forward with a more conventional commercial TPO installation.
For RoofChoice, being able to handle both is part of the job.
With work progressing from one section of the property to the next, the South Nashville project continues to take shape.
